Wayne Daniels, Ph.D.
Dr. Daniels is a retired clinical psychologist. He leads the pastoral care
ministry at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Fullerton and is active in the
Kairos Prison ministry.
Ellen Bauer Hume, M.A., OTR
Mrs. Bauer Hume is currently an occupational therapy consultant specializing
in Alzheimers Disease. She is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church of
the Redeemer, a diverse church community in central Los Angeles.
Walter Palmer, J.D.
Mr. Palmer works in the Systems Integrity department for The Boeing Company,
Integrated Defense Systems Division. He is an attorney and has worked as general
counsel for private industry as well as a non-profit children’s social
services agency in Mississippi. He is a member of the Vestry at Emmanuel
Episcopal Church in Fullerton, and is active in the Cursillo ministry.
Reverend Lynda Crow, R.N., M.Div.
Reverend Crow is the assistant rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in
Fullerton, California. Previously, she worked as a registered nurse on a
post-surgical floor, in intensive care, and in the operating room at a major
trauma center.
Ed Borrowe
Mr. Borrowe served as Mayor of La Habra Heights in 04-05 and was a member of
the La Habra Heights City Council from 2001 to 2005. He was a member of the
Western Aerosol Information Bureau for 13 years, serving as both president
and vice president. He also served as senior leader of the Volunteer Patrol
for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department for 11 years.
Wayne Halleen, M.D.
Dr. Halleen is a retired Obstetrician-Gynecologist. A member of Trinity
Presbyterian Church, he has served in a variety of capacities, including
choir, Sunday School leadership, teaching, finance committee, disabilities
ministry, deacon and elder. He has also been involved with church and
community committees and organizations, including serving on the board of
ADD.
Reverend Robert Pietsch, D.Min.
Reverend Pietsch is retired from the position of associate pastor at Trinity
Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana, California. Currently he is a part-time
associate pastor at Tustin Presbyterian Church. He was the founder and
original executive director of ADD and continues to serve as an ecumenical
liaison with many local churches. His late son had a developmental
disability.
Karen Carr, B.A.
Ms. Carr was a Special Education teacher for young adults (ages 18-22) with
developmental disabilities. She lived in a L’Arche community in Compiegne,
France for five years where she was the Coordinator of the House of Prayer
and Hospitality for four years. She served on the Board of Advocates for
People with Developmental Disabilities (ADD) for several years.
